The recent trend has been for rappers, once they feel as though they’ve conquered the whole music world, to apply for a SAG card and take on the world of and television. Ludacris, Common, and T.I. have all done it. Even Weezy is dabbling in the acting world. But an even more recent trend has found its way into the music world. Instead of searching for movie scripts to read, rappers are now seeking out companies to write brand strategies for…well…at least they’re looking at the brand strategies…maybe?
